VIAFIRMA is an innovative company formed by a young team of professionals whose dedication and passion are the development of the so-called Digital Confidence Services and specialized in solutions related to digital Identity, Authentication, Electronic Signature, Biometric Signature and Mobility.
Where did the project idea come from?
VIAFIRMA has almost 10 years of experience in the regional (Seville), national (Spain) and international market (13 countries). Thanks to this experience, VIAFIRMA has detected that organizations around the world are urgently transforming their businesses, using digital technologies to deliver agility, efficiency or cost savings. Digital signature solutions are quickly replacing paper-based signatures and have the potential to dominate signature-related processes. The primary benefits of this technology include increased efficiency, lower costs and increased customer satisfaction.
Why did you select that specific target country?
In 2005, AVANSI is created in Dominican Republic achieving remarkable goals; Avansi is the only entity in the country authorized to act as a certification authority in the country.
Who are your partners in the target country?
TECHNOLOGY, KNOWLEDGE AND SERVICES S.R.L. (Tecklas), is our official partner in Dominican Republic. Tecklas is specialized in the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Tecklas is a leader in providing solutions to the Higher Education market in the Dominican Republic.
The role of Tecklas respond to essential need for increasing the engagement of business in development at the country and regional level. Considering the level of expertise of Tecklas as a company and team members involved in the project we have established the leadership of Tecklas in those activities in which a highly level of local market knowledge and require a deep capillarity that not only ensure but also boost commercial acceptation of Viafirma Documents: Definition of a complementary joint R&D Project for co-creation or technology adaptation with the local subcontractor or other local partner/s. Technology adaptation: Tecklas will be responsible for assessing the technology adaptation to be implemented during the VAP execution. Technology legal situation analysis and Technology partnership matchmaking.
What is your long term vision for your company working in your chosen partner country?
We have a clear technological and commercial objective to bring Viafirma as a leading e-Signature provider in Dominican Republic.
What impact do you believe INNOWWIDE will have on your company?
This VAP will establish the basis for a long-term cooperation through joint collaboration for an Iberoeka project that will consolidate the leadership of Viafirma in Dominican Republic market with the introduction of the innovative product: Viafirma Documents, and the started point for an international expansion through LATAM. Thanks to this roadmap, we expect a company growth through internationalization reaching 5 new countries sales and 10% penetration market in 2022.
Can you offer any advice or guidance to others looking to apply for INNOWWIDE grants?
INNOWWIDE grants are a great opportunity for a technical and commercial feasibility study, permit research commercial strategy and risk management, and prepare marketing and communication plan for penetration into foreign countries of innovative European technology.
