Where did the project idea come from?
The terrible consequences of diseases like Dengue, Zika or Malaria, and the need to improve the protection of citizens.
Why did you select that specific target country?
Brazil is one of the most affected countries by mosquito-borne diseases.
Who are your partners in the target country?
Mosquitos do Castelo- a company specialized in the management and execution of vector and pest control programs.
What is your long term vision for your company working in your chosen partner country?
IRIDEON plans to become a reference in cost-effective IoT sensors to automate the surveillance programs of mosquito-borne diseases. It is not only a business opportunity for us, but an opportunity to prevent epidemics and loss of lives.
What impact do you believe INNOWWIDE will have on your company?
We want to reach the markets of Latin-america and INNOWWIDE will setup a beach-head to enable reaching the Brazilian market with a low-cost solution that can be readily implemented by health authorities.
