The goal of this platform is to facilitate your approach to the third-country markets and to create partnerships in medium to long-term. In this way, you should have in consideration that you may not be able to establish a partnership in time to submit your VAP application within the available timeframe.

Latin America IPR SME Helpdesk
The Latin America IP SME Helpdesk is a First Line Intellectual Property Assistance Service for European/COSME Small and Medium Enterprises (EU SMEs and SMEs from the Associated Countries) that operate or intend to access the Latin American market towards improving their global competitiveness. The Helpdesk provides free, expert and confidential IP advice as well as different trainings and resources for learning how to manage Intellectual Property Rights in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation
Funded by the European Commission and the Japanese Government, the EU-Japan Centre aims at promoting all forms of industrial, trade and investment cooperation between the EU and Japan and at improving EU and Japanese companies’ competitiveness and cooperation by facilitating exchanges of experience and know-how between EU and Japanese businesses.
In particular it provides support to EU SMEs in the form of: trade missions to Japan, intelligence, matchmaking and logistic supports among others.

Matchmaking Tool
You can submit your matchmaking request through our Matchmaking Tool and we will look for a suitable partner in the country that you’re interested in, having in consideration your business type and needs.
Please note that the platform aims to match European SMEs to third countries counterparts. The Matchmaking process will only work efficiently if the requests received are from EU or EU Associated Countries looking for partners outside Europe.
